The Rockies are home to some of the best wildlife study opportunities
on the continent. We offer widlife ecology trips with wildlife
researchers and naturalists that give you a deeper appreciation
of the animal's niche, habitat and lifestyle. You also learn
about the challenges facing the species and how we can help
ensure their survival. Search for radio-collared animals using
the researchers' radio tracking equipment. Do your own search
for a hidden collar. Visit a site where wolves recently killed
an animal. Grizzlies, wolves, elk, cougars, mountain goats and
bighorn sheep all call the Rockies home. We offer separate interpretive
programs with researchers and naturalists for each of these.
We, of course, cannot guarantee a viewing opportunity, but at
certain times of year, elk and bighorn sheep are quite easy
to observe. It is, however, rare to see grizzlies, wolves and
cougars. Year Round, Max 10 pax/guide.
For the bird watching enthusiast to the casual
dabbler. Your naturalist guide will take you to spots

summertime. Discover kestrels, golden eagles, burrowing
owls, great horned owls, prairie falcons and the rare
ferruginous hawk. Bring your camera and field guide and
prepare to make check marks in it. Early morning and late
day are the best viewing times.
